Job summary

UNA Tax & Accounting Services is seeking a Tax and Audit Associate in the Metro Manila area to gain hands-on experience in tax services, audits, and government compliance. You will prepare tax returns, process government contributions, and ensure BIR compliance while supporting audit fieldwork and document management.

The role expects a BS in Accountancy and values MS Office proficiency; CPA is preferred but not required. A pathway for professional development and competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• BS in Accountancy
• CPA preferred but not required
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, OPT, withholding taxes, etc.)
• Process government contributions (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) and renewal of books of accounts
• Ensure compliance with BIR, semi-annual, and annual requirements
• Prepare working papers and schedules for audits and financial statement reconstruction
• Conduct tax reconciliations, adjust trial balances, and draft financial statements with notes
• Assist in audit fieldwork for returning clients
• Prepare and submit documentary requirements
• Coordinate with clients and government agencies
• Monitor and update the status of government compliance processes
• Maintain client documents and itineraries
