Job summary

First Datacorp in Makati City is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Assistant to join our team. You will prepare and file tax returns, assist in computing VAT, withholding taxes, and income tax, and maintain organized tax records and supporting documents.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field. On-site work from Monday to Friday with overtime as needed; familiarity with Philippine taxation and BIR compliance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably with experience in Philippine taxation and BIR compliance.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns and required regulatory reports.
• Assist in computing VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other applicable taxes.
• Maintain complete and organized tax records and supporting documents.
• Assist in tax audits, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor tax deadlines and coordinate with Finance and Accounting on tax-related matters.
