Job summary

Advance Beyond International Consulting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Tax/Accounting Assistant to join our team in the Philippines. You will assist in preparing and reviewing VAT, EWT, FWT, and Income Tax returns, ensure timely filings, and monitor deadlines.

You will also support document organization for audits, assist with bookkeeping and BOA maintenance, and coordinate with internal departments on tax inquiries. Fresh grads are welcome to apply and training provided.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
0.5–1 year of relevant tax or accounting experience preferred.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Basic knowledge of Philippine tax compliance and accounting principles.
Familiar with BIR tax filings and bookkeeping is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation and review of tax returns including VAT, EWT, FWT, and Income Tax.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and tax payments.
Monitor tax deadlines and maintain compliance calendar.
Organize tax documents for audits and compliance.
Research applicable tax laws and updates.
Provide admin support during tax assessments and audits.
Coordinate with internal departments and clients on tax questions.
Assist in reconciling accounts for trial balance and financial statements.
Assist with bookkeeping and maintenance of Books of Accounts.
Perform other tax and accounting duties as assigned by the Tax Specialist or Management.
