Job description

As a Tax Accountant, you will prepare tax payments and returns for the company, staying up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and laws. Strong time management skills are essential to meet tight deadlines and maintain accurate records of tax payments. You will also recommend tax strategies that ensure compliance and support the company’s financial health.

  • Ensures timely filing and payment of all corporate monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and
  • supporting schedules and alpha lists/reliefs which includes, among others, Value Added tax, withholding
  • tax, Income tax, Final Tax, DST and other returns that arise during the course of business subject to
  • review of Finance Manager.
  • Coordinates renewal of business permits to liaison in charge
  • Ensures compliance to BIR’s tax mapping requirements.
  • Reviews and monitors the timely issuance of BIR Form 2307.
  • Files annual inventory list with the BIR.
  • Handles tax queries from clients, suppliers, and Management regarding tax treatments.
  • Provides assistance in handling of BIR examinations and other special projects.
  • Responsible for the response to the letter of notices from the BIR, SSS, PHIC, HDMF and LGUs if any.
  • Reviews tax accounts and proposes entries to correct balances of tax accounts.

  • Preferably 2-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
