Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a technical recruiter to own all aspects of sourcing and hiring select technology professionals.

The recruiter will strategize and execute to identify and fill job openings, interview candidates, and keep a database of candidates and applications. Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition or IT Team Leaders to forecast needs, create job descriptions, and post to Jobstreet, Mynimo, LinkedIn, Facebook and other sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the recruitment process and platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Good understanding of technology and tech roles.
• Ability to explain job requirements for technical positions.
• Solid understanding of HR practices.
• Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition or IT Team Leaders to determine needs and roles to be filled.
• Coordinate with team leaders to forecast business, department goals, and hiring needs.
• Recommend creative strategies to attract talents from across the country.
• Create job descriptions and post to relevant job posting websites (e.g., Jobstreet, Mynimo, LinkedIn, Facebook).
• Source potential candidates through existing postings and referrals.
• Craft and send recruiting correspondences for current openings to passive and active candidates.
• Identify candidates and assess qualifications via resumes, interviews and other communications.
• Maintain contact with candidates about application status.
• Perform background and reference checks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in overall recruitment process and platforms
• Bachelor’s degree of human resources or related degree
• A good understanding of technology and technical skills
• Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Tech roles
• Solid understanding of HR practices
• Good interpersonal skills and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experienced in sourcing the following IT resources with this background or experience:

• Software Engineers - (Flutter, React, React-Native, DevOps, Java, Node.js, Swift, Kotlin)
• UI/UX Designer
• IT Business Analyst
• IT Project Manager
• Product Quality Engineers (Test Automation or Manual QA Engineers)
