Job summary

onsemi in the Philippines is seeking a Back-End Capacity Planning Analyst to help ensure capacity plans meet product demand. You will use planning systems to analyze demand and coordinate with BU Planning, Manufacturing, External Manufacturing and Product Engineering.

Responsibilities include weekly start plans, monthly forecasts for external sites, monitoring factory performance, addressing capacity disconnects, and driving improvements.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Excellent English verbal and written communication
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, SQL)
• Good problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
• ERP experience with SAP/JDA/Oracle preferred
• Semiconductor industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IE/External Management for capacity planning in Capacity Workbench
• Prepare weekly start plan for External manufacturing sites
• Prepare monthly forecast for capacity booking and material planning
• Monitor factory performance and drive recovery plans
• Coordinate CAPEX ramp-up with IE and track progress
• Identify capacity disconnects and document changes
• Communicate capacity issues with factories and SCM teams
• Perform high-level demand-supply analysis with BU planning and SCM teams
• Establish cross-department processes for target realization
• Identify opportunities for system improvement and lead key projects
• Support NPI projects to ensure capacity ramp-up to business needs
• Contribute to team performance measurement and development

Job Summary

The SCM Back-End Capacity Planning Analyst uses planning systems to provide a capacity plan that meets the product demand within stated capacities, as well as analyzes any demand and supply gap and works with BU Planning, Manufacturing, External Manufacturing team and Product Engineer as needed and mitigate the supply shortage by various means like capacity swap, site transfer and line expansion etc.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for collaborating with IE/External Management team to have right capacity planning in Capacity Workbench system
• Be responsible for the weekly start plan to External manufacturing sites
• Be responsible for the monthly forecast to External manufacturing sites for capacity booking and material planning
• Be responsible for monitoring factory performance (Starts/Outs, Lagging, Start Compliance, etc.) in weekly basis, understand the root cause for underperforming and push through the solution and recovery plan
• Be responsible for following up IE to provide the CAPEX ramp-up plan.
• Identify and address any capacity disconnects, and document any capacity changes
• Communicate with the factories, SCM teams , manufacturing and engineering on all capacity issues
• Conduct high-level demand and supply analysis, work with BU planning, SCM Tactical Planning and Supply Planning teams on capacity analysis, capacity fulfillment for demand allocation adjustment.
• Establish business process among planning groups or cross departments/sites for business target realization.
• Identify opportunity for business system improvement, initiate key projects and ensure the deliverables are accomplished as expected.
• Participate in NPI project and follow up on the progress to ensure capacity ramp-up in line with business development requirement
• Performance measurement and expertise development for team members

Qualifications

• BS/BA Supply Chain Management (or related field) or equivalent work experience, capacity planning experience is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good data analysis skill like excel, SQL, etc.
• Good problem-solving skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Ability to adapt within an ever-changing environment
• ERP Software experience like SAP, JDA, Oracle system is preferred
• Working experience in semiconductor industry is preferred
