Job summary

Shopee in the Philippines seeks a Systems Builder to shape foundational systems and ownership structures across commercial, warehouse operations, and BI/analytics. You will define operational standards and build scalable processes to support rapid business scaling.

You will tackle complex, ambiguous problems by creating structured action plans, dashboards, and trackers, driving meaningful improvements while operating under pressure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Analytics, Economics, or related field.
• 4–6 years of working experience in Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Analytics, Startups, Project Management, or Consulting.
• Background in high-ownership commercial or operational roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex operational issues to identify root causes.
• Improve workflows and design operational processes that ensure long-term sustainability.
• Translate ambiguous operational problems into structured, executable action plans.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, and downstream risks before they escalate into systemic failures.
• Serve as the primary focal point at the intersection of Commercial, Warehouse Operations, and BI/Analytics.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve operational blockers and align on deliverables.
• Navigate competing stakeholder needs and operational constraints to ensure project success.
• Manage high-volume operational initiatives, often with incomplete information.
• Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and visibility tools to monitor and improve performance.
• Execute with high velocity in a complex environment, adapting independently to shifting priorities.
• Independently create structure and define standards without waiting for explicit instructions.
• Maintain mental organization under high pressure and ambiguity.
