Job summary
San Miguel Corporation is seeking an Systems Engineer - Operational Technology in Limay, Bataan, Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring reliability of refinery OT facilities, advising the Chief OT Systems Engineer, and troubleshooting OT components to restore operations.
Ideal candidates hold a valid Electronics Engineer license with 2–5 years in petroleum refining, and familiarity with Yokogawa DCS, Allen-Bradley PLC, or Siemens PLC is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Electronics Engineer.
- 2–5 years of petroleum refining experience preferred.
- Experience with Yokogawa DCS, Allen-Bradley PLC, or Siemens PLC is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the Chief OT Systems Engineer to ensure reliability of refinery OT facilities.
- Troubleshoot OT component failures and restore to working condition.
- Develop recommendations to prevent recurrence and address obsolescence through the system lifecycle.

Job Summary:
The Operational Technology (OT) Systems Engineer is responsible for advising and assisting the Chief OT Systems Engineer in ensuring the reliability of the refinery’s operational technology (OT) facilities, specifically troubleshooting OT component failures, restoring to working condition, developing recommendations to prevent recurrence; as well as complying with system lifecycle to address obsolescence.
- Must be a licensed Electronics Engineer
- Preferably with two (2) to five (5) years of petroleum refining experience
- Experience in Yokogawa DCS, Allen Bradley PLC, and/or Siemens PLC would be an advantage
- Willing to be assigned in Bataan
