Job summary

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Development Engineer to join our team at First Sumiden Circuits Inc. in Cabuyao City, Laguna. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible in to support system improvement initiatives for our Smart Factory transformation. This role focuses on analyzing workflows, implementing digital manufacturing tools, and improving automation processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and traceability across production lines. The Process Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions and customer driven practices.

What we’re looking for:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Competencies

The candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in:

• Basic Knowledge in Database Management (MySQL, HeidiSQL or similar), automation logic and machine interface systems.
• Knowledgeable for Basic Project management principles.
• Keen to detail; work with minimum supervision, with good analytical and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).

Experience

• At least 1 year work experience as process engineering or manufacturing system improvement in a Semiconductor or Electronics Company.
• Hands-on exposure to Smart Factory tools (MES, SCADA, IoT platforms, Auto Recipe systems, barcode integration).
• Background in data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
