Job summary

Alstom in Ortigas Centre Manila, Philippines, invites applications for a System Integration Manager position. This role focuses on defining interfaces between Electro-Mechanical subsystems and leading the integration activities across rolling stock, signaling, telecoms, and power supply.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and external partners to ensure consistency of interfaces and to drive SICD definitions in alignment with global standards.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Overall 20 years of experience with solid understanding of railway systems, E&M equipment, and subsystems.
• Minimum 10 years as an E&M systems engineer and involvement in at least two projects as an integrator.
• Expertise in System Engineering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster open dialogue, build trust, and collaborate effectively.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the System Interface management process, including interface identification and the interface register.
• Create and maintain System Interface Control Documents (SICD) for subsystem pairs.
• Ensure consistency and alignment of interfaces across E&M subsystems.
• Manage detailed interface definitions, such as Software Interface Design Descriptions (SIDD) and cabling consistency.
• Oversee Civil Works (CW) interface engineering for tramway projects.
• Prepare and support the integration phase of projects.

You’ll play a key role in defining and managing the interfaces between Electro-Mechanical (E&M) Subsystems, ensuring seamless integration across diverse components such as Rolling Stock, Signalling, Telecommunications, Power Supply, and more. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, project management, and external partners, to maintain consistency across interfaces and oversee detailed definitions for integration. You’ll also lead the Civil Works (CW) interface engineering for tramway projects and prepare for the integration phase.

You’ll specifically take care of defining System Interface Control Documents (SICD) and managing the detailed interface definitions, but also ensure alignment with Alstom's global standards and processes.
