Lotte-Gulermak-EEI Joint Venture in Cebu City is seeking a Survey Engineer to lead field surveys, supervise the survey team, and ensure precise data on construction projects. You will operate GNSS/RTK systems, Leica devices, and CAD tools while coordinating with subcontractors and client representatives.
The role requires 3+ years of experience, a Geodetic Engineering background, and a commitment to safety, QA/QC, and timely project delivery on site.
The Survey Engineer shall perform and support construction surveying activities for structures, buildings, earthworks, ground improvement works, and other project facilities to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effective survey management throughout the project.
Supervise and lead the field survey team by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
Operate surveying instruments, process survey data, and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and technical requirements.
Execute construction surveys using appropriate surveying techniques and equipment, including GNSS/GPS, total stations, digital levels, and other specialized instruments.
Coordinate and collaborate with subcontractors, consultants, and the Client's representatives to facilitate survey activities and support construction operations.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during field operations to ensure the safety of survey personnel and other site workers.
Implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of survey data and records.
Prepare, process, and maintain survey reports, calculations, drawings, maps, as-built surveys, and other documentation required for inspection, verification, and project records.
Ensure all surveying equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, certified, and in good working condition prior to deployment.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Survey Manager or as required to support project objectives.
Preferably a licensed Geodetic Engineer or a graduate of a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in construction projects.
Hands-on experience in the operation of Leica Geosystems surveying equipment and GNSS RTK systems.
Proficient in survey data processing and drafting using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office applications.
Willing to render overtime and work on rotating or shifting schedules as required by project operations.
Demonstrate the ability to lead and supervise a survey team while assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of surveying activities.
Proactively contribute to team development and collaborate in project planning and decision-making to achieve efficient and accurate survey operations.
Possess an advanced understanding of surveying safety procedures and best practices, ensuring compliance with project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
