Job summary

Coronis-Health-LL in Metro Manila, Mandaluyong area, seeks a detail-oriented Surgical ProFee Medical Coder to review physician documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes and modifiers for surgical and same-day surgery encounters.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Surgical ProFee coding experience, knowledge of payer rules and regulatory guidelines, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to meet productivity and quality targets in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Review physician documentation and operative reports to code accurately.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and modifier rules.
• Familiarity with payer-specific billing requirements and HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Review physician documentation, operative reports, and medical records to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Code Surgical ProFee encounters in accordance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and regulatory guidelines.
• Apply appropriate modifiers and ensure compliance with payer-specific billing requirements.
• Identify documentation deficiencies and communicate with providers when clarification is needed.
• Maintain coding accuracy while meeting established productivity standards.
• Stay current with coding updates, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Participate in quality audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and organizational coding policies.
