Job summary

Makati Life Medical Center is seeking licensed physicians to join our Surgery department as Surgery Junior Consultants (JCon). The role involves providing medical assessment and management of patients under the Surgery service on a 24-hour duty basis.

You will attend to referrals, admissions, and other clinical requirements during duty, coordinate with attending consultants, nurses, and the healthcare team, monitor patients, document and endorse care, and ensure continuity of patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with active PRC license.
• BLS and/or ACLS certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to render 24-hour duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical assessment and management of patients under the Surgery service
• Attend to patient referrals, admissions, and other clinical requirements during duty
• Coordinate closely with attending consultants, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Monitor patients and respond appropriately to changes in their clinical condition
• Complete required medical documentation and endorsements
• Ensure proper continuity of patient care
