Job summary

GHD is seeking a Surface Water Engineer to support the PH Water Group on a range of civil infrastructure projects in the Philippines. You will contribute to design, modelling, and hydrology tasks, while assisting with project bids and team coordination.

The role welcomes senior-level candidates with extensive experience, including ownership of projects and mentoring junior engineers. The hybrid work model allows in-office collaboration three days a week, with opportunities across Makati/Cebu

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modelling and design is essential.
• Proficiency in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Drainage Design, and Civil 3D/12d is preferred.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Surface Water Engineer to support the PH Water Group.

What You’ll Do

• Working on a broad range of civil infrastructure projects, including dams, weirs, fishways, stormwater drainage, linear infrastructure, and mine water management schemes.
• Contributing to business development activities and project bids.
• Work with a project team to deliver the work and studies.
• Perform project management tasks and coordination with other groups when involved with multi-disciplinary projects.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Drainage Design, and Civil 3D or 12d.
• Familiarity with basic programming or scripting is advantageous.
• Experience with TUFLOW is highly desirable.
• Experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, drainage, stormwater, and surface water projects.
• Open to senior‑level candidates with extensive experience, including project ownership and mentoring of junior engineers.
