Job summary

Multinational Company in Metro Manila, Pasig is seeking a Surface Grinding Operator to perform grinding operations for precision tooling components such as punches, dies, die sets, and mould parts.

The role prefers candidates with a background in mechanical technology or machining and experience in surface grinding, including a 6-month apprenticeship/OJT. Strong reading of mechanical drawings is advantageous.

Job description

Conducts activities relative to the machine operations with the use of SURFACE GRINDER MACHINE to produce products that consists of various grinding operations. This also includes fabrication of precision and/or semi-precision tooling such as: punch & dies, die sets parts, mould parts, etc.

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT

• College (graduate or undergraduate of 4-year mechanical technology or mechanical engineering course)
• Graduate or undergraduate of any technical or vocational course specializing in machining

Skills Requirement

• Specialized in grinding operations
• Ability to read and/or interpret mechanical drawings is an advantage

Experience Required

• Underwent 6 mos. Apprenticeship/OJT
• Applicants must have at least 2 years experience as surface grinding operator or any related field
