Job Summary
- Plan and prioritize workload in production. Prepare and communicate work plans.
- Delegate and oversee production and ensure outputs adhere exactly to job specs provided.
- Plan employee training and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementation of rules based on the handbook.
- Review daily job requirements based on the demands of the production line and deliveries.
- Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
- Train production personnel to achieve standard-and-above efficiency for high-quality output.
- Maintain quality standards.
- Oversee employee morale and positive relationships.
- Work and develop personnel abilities.
- Ensure safe work practices, good housekeeping procedures and adherence to them.
- Ensure machines and/or equipment are kept in good condition.
- Recommend changes or improvements in methods, equipment, handling or layout.
- Develop, track, and report on production methods and results.
- Lead safety meetings, ensuring PPE compliance and investigating workplace accidents.
- Control absenteeism, scrap and waste material.
- Provide updates and conduct yearly evaluations for personnel performance.
- Report to Manufacturing manager regarding progress with production line activities.
- Ensure correct procedures are performed.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, understanding rotation, tolerance and angles.
- Work alongside the maintenance team to diagnose equipment malfunctions, schedule repairs and perform line changeovers.
- Have relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or a related field.
- Conduct 6’S before leaving the work area at the end of each shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
Educational/Certification Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree, associate’s degree or vocational certification in manufacturing technology, industrial management, or technical trades is highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and proficient in office software.
Experience Requirement
- Minimum 4-year relevant experience.
- Exposure to semiconductor industry preferred.
- Self‑motivated and resourceful.
- Possesses a “can‑do” attitude.
- Capable of developing positive work relationships and a favourable work environment within the team and other functional groups.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Able to perform any other task assigned by manager or supervisor.
- Comply with work ethics and integrity.
