Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Philippines seeks an Engineer I to prepare operation instructions, train personnel in manufacturing, and raise overall department performance. You will troubleshoot equipment, reduce defects, and support handovers to meet capacity demands while upholding quality and information security policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical manufacturing automation or mechatronics, 4 years of related experience, and fluent English.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical manufacturing automation / mechatronics required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environment.
• Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to meet production needs.
• Maintain equipment stability and improve yield.
• Assist ME to investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Select, install, and commission equipment; ensure timely handover.
• Improve production efficiency by enhancing equipment performance.
• Understand maintenance mechanisms and maintenance strategies (TBM/UBM/CBM/Prescriptive).
• Follow quality and information-security regulations and protect company secrets.
• Be able to work on-call in production.

Job Summary

Prepare various equipment related operation instructions, formulate training plans, complete the training of personnel in the manufacturing department, and improve the operation level of the manufacturing department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Through troubleshooting and maintenance, ensure the normal operation of the equipment and meet the production needs.
• Maintain the stability of the equipment, reduce process defects and improve the yield.
• Assist ME to investigate and solve customer complaints.
• Do a good job in equipment selection, installation and commissioning, and hand over in time to meet the capacity demand.
• Continuously improve production efficiency by improving equipment performance.
• Understand and have Knowledge of maintenance mechanisms. :-
• Time-Based Maintenance: Establishing a calendar with intervals for maintenance activity.
• Usage-Based Maintenance: You replace parts when the machine has been used a certain amount before they break.
• Condition-Based Maintenance: You replace the parts when they seem like they are getting too worn out to continue to function appropriately. Learn more about machine condition monitoring.
• Predictive Maintenance: You utilize historical data to make predictions about when a part will break and replace the parts based on these predictions, prior to them breaking. This usually, but not always, utilizes artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Prescriptive Maintenance: Advanced data analysis methods are used to do more than predict failure points but instead provide hypothetical outcomes in order to choose the best action that can be taken prior to failure, safety hazards, and quality issues arise as well as the timing of implementation.
• In accordance with the requirements of the quality / information security management system, abide by relevant management regulations, keep the company's corporate secrets, and be responsible for the quality / information security of this post.
• Able to adapt to production on call

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Hands-on expertise in conducting preventive maintenance and diagnosing electrical and mechanical system failures.
• Ability to execute root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize production downtime.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and Statistical Process Control.

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree or above, major in mechanical manufacturing automation / integration of mechanical and mechatronic technology.
• Have equipment maintenance knowledge, basic management knowledge and statistical knowledge. 4 years' working experience in related field can apply.
• Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, proficient in office software

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 4-year relevant experience
• Exposure to semiconductor industry preferred.
• Self-motivated and resourceful
• Possesses drive with "can-do" attitude.
• Capable of developing positive work relationship, a favourable work environment within the team and other functional group
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill.
• Able to perform any other task assigned by manager / supervisor.
• Comply to work ethics and integrity
