Job summary

TE Connectivity in Batangas is seeking a Mandarin Interpreter to assist guests from China on the production floor, guide cultural assimilation, provide trainings, and help with signages and work instructions.

You will serve as the go-to person for the team, support social events as a tour guide, and handle basic documentation; Bachelor’s degree required, 1 year interpreting experience preferred, and willingness to work Monday to Saturday on a project-based arrangement.

• 1 year of interpreter experience. Work experience in manufacturing is an advantage but not required.
• Willing to work on a project-based employment.
• Must be willing to work in Batangas (Monday to Saturday).

Job Overview

We are looking for Mandarin Interpreter who will be responsible in assisting and guiding our guests from China, through cultural assimilation, trainings and working on signages and work instruction in the production floor. He/she will be the go‑to person and will help the team with social events (tour guide) that the company will facilitate. Additional skills to include are the ability to listen and read, and familiarity with basic business functions including documentation, filing and customer service.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in Mandarin Language (speaking and writing)
• 1 year working experience as an Interpreter. Work experience in Manufacturing set-up is an advantage but not required
• Willing to work in a project-based employment
• Must be willing to work in Batangas (Monday to Saturday)
• English skills, able to ready technical materials in English
