Job summary

Southern California Edison invites a 12-week summer internship for Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Big Creek). This on-site program in the Philippines places interns with a mentor, real-world projects, and cross-functional collaboration to build valuable professional experience.

Participants develop engineering skills, attend Intern Expo, and gain exposure to industry software and tools, while contributing to safety and data integrity initiatives. Start May/June 2027 with end Aug/Sept 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with graduation date December 2027 or later.
• 2.8 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work on real world challenges within the utility/energy sector.
• Be paired with a mentor and collaborate to apply knowledge, grow skills and make an impact.
• Build your professional network through intern events.
• Work with cross functional teams on projects.
• Provide ongoing support to grow personally and professionally.
• Present in the annual Intern Expo to showcase the internship project.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools.
