Job summary

Western Digital is seeking Engineering Interns for a structured 3–6 month program at the Philippines site (PHO). You will be embedded in the Engineering organization, with a dedicated buddy/mentor, clear deliverables, and a final project presentation.

High-performing interns may convert to the ECT under the BEST Program. Preferred candidates have hands-on lab or manufacturing exposure and strong data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum 3rd-year standing; rising seniors preferred.
• Available for a 3–6-month internship full-time or part-time.
• Internship allowed for academic credit.

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day engineering activities in assigned function area.
• Assisting in data collection, process monitoring, and documentation.
• Contributing to a defined internship project with measurable output.
• Attending structured learning sessions and technical orientations.
• Completing mid-point and end-of-internship assessments.
• Presenting internship project findings to team and mentor at program close.
