Job summary

MHP International Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Architectural Drafter/Architect in Metro Manila to prepare drawings for control buildings and facilities within substation projects. You will develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing aligned with project requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years in architectural design, strong NBC knowledge, and advanced AutoCAD skills; SketchUp or Revit are a plus.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in architectural design/drafting.
Strong knowledge of the National Building Code (NBC) and PH building standards.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting & detailing); SketchUp or Revit a plus.
Licensed Architect preferred (Board passer or actively pursuing licensure welcome to apply).
Good eye for space planning, building layout, and finishes detailing.
Experience designing control buildings, guardhouses, or industrial/utility facilities.
Familiarity with coordinating architectural drawings alongside structural and MEP plans.
Proficient in MS Excel & Word for specifications and reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare architectural drawings for control buildings and other facility structures within substation projects.
Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing in line with project requirements.
Coordinate closely with civil/structural, electrical, and mechanical teams to resolve design conflicts.
Ensure designs comply with NBC and relevant local building standards.
Maintain organized CAD layers, xrefs, and sheet sets consistent with project standards.
