Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required.
• Master's degree in Counseling preferred for advanced practice.
• Valid professional license or certification in counselling/psychology as required in the Philippines.
• Minimum of 2 years of counselling experience, preferably in education or with young adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counselling addressing academic, personal, social and emotional concerns.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop personalised counselling plans.
• Lead group counselling sessions and psychoeducational workshops.
• Collaborate with academic departments to support students with academic challenges.
• Maintain confidential client records and documentation per professional standards.
• Refer students to external resources when specialized support is needed.
• Participate in orientation programs and outreach to promote counselling services.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Assist in crisis intervention and emergency response as needed.
• Work with other student services staff to promote student wellbeing.
