Qualifications

Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Marine Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Experience with advanced structural analysis software and tools.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
Strong understanding of current building codes and industry standards.
Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Experience with sustainable design and construction practices.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.

Responsibilities

Prepares structural design drawings and ensures conformance to codes, standards, and client requirements.
Performs detailed technical analysis of moderate to complex project design issues.
Design and analyze structural components for buildings, bridges, and other structures.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure structural integrity and compliance with codes.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to develop structural designs.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects.
Prepares structural design and analysis based on codes and client requirements.
Prepares structural layout, drawings, and calculation sheets for approval.
Monitors projects for conformance to design and construction.
Provides feedback on technical and structural aspects to management and project leaders.
Provides technical support in the review of drawings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
