TYLin Philippines seeks a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to analyze, design, and deliver structural projects across buildings and infrastructure. You will develop designs, perform calculations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements and schedules.

The role requires solid knowledge of structural principles, design codes, and experience with reinforced concrete and steel. Independent work and collaboration with senior engineers and BIM/CAD teams are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering is required.
• Must be a registered professional engineer in the Philippines or member of international engineering charters.
• 4+ years’ experience in design of steel and concrete buildings.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASBI, PCI and related design codes.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, design, and deliver structural engineering projects for buildings and infrastructure.
• Develop structural designs and calculations; review technical documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and overseas TYLin offices.
• Ensure drawings and designs meet QA/QC procedures and standards.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid-Level Structural Engineer to support the analysis, design, and delivery of structural engineering projects across a range of building and infrastructure assignments. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing structural designs and calculations, preparing and reviewing technical documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and constructible solutions.

The role requires a solid understanding of structural engineering principles, applicable design codes and standards, and experience working with common structural materials such as reinforced concrete and structural steel. The ideal candidate can work independently on assigned design tasks while collaborating effectively with senior engineers, designers, BIM/CAD teams, and other disciplines to meet project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Work with diverse disciplines in horizontal and vertical structural design delivery, including but not limited to structural, civil, environmental, social, finance, and economics.
• Coordinate with clients and overseas TYLin offices and partners as well as local associates.
• Review engineering design, plans, specifications, and estimates following applicable design codes.
• Working knowledge of codes such as ASBI, PCI, AASHTO, ACI, AISC, etc.
• Assist in ensuring that drawings, calculations, and designs are by company production and design standards and strengths and follow Quality Assurance and Control procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of project data for schedules, and assist in preparing schedules and budgets to monitor progress reports.
• Ability to provide quality control/quality assurance to ensure deliverables are of high quality and on time.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required, Masters preferred.
• Must be a registered professional engineer in the Philippines or a member of International Engineering Charters or Organizations.
• 4+ years’ experience in the design of steel and concrete buildings.
• Familiarity with special seismic provisions and steel connection design provisions of Philippines and AISC codes.
• Shall have solid project management skills, client relationship management, and adept in vertical and horizontal engineering principles and code.
• Requires knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Travel may be required.
• Must possess communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective project team collaboration and relationship building.
