A leading company in strategic investments seeks a seasoned leader to drive growth through M&A and capital raising. JOB SUMMARY:
This strategic leadership role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing growth opportunities that align with the group’s overall vision and long-term objectives. The position plays a key role in sourcing capital, optimizing capital deployment, expanding the group’s business portfolio, and driving value creation through synergies across subsidiaries and strategic business units.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
Lead the development and execution of group-level strategies focused on market expansion, new business ventures, and cross-functional collaboration.
Align strategic initiatives with the organization’s long-term goals and vision.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
Oversee the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and execution.
Identify acquisition and investment opportunities that strengthen and diversify the group’s business portfolio.
Capital Raising & Structuring
Partner with Finance and Investor Relations teams to structure and secure funding for strategic projects, including equity, debt, or partnership capital.
Ensure optimal capital allocation to support high-impact initiatives across the group.
Partnerships & Alliances
Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures that accelerate growth, enhance capabilities, or create competitive advantages.
Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the long-term success of collaborative initiatives.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred
Additional coursework or specialization in Strategy, Investment, or Corporate Development is a plus
WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in corporate strategy, business development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting
Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives, M&A transactions, capital raising, or business portfolio management
Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with C-level executives
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring skills
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, capital markets, and investment analysis
Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence platforms
Familiarity with due diligence processes and legal frameworks related to M&A and joint ventures
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
CFA, CPA, or similar financial/investment-related certifications are advantageous
Licensed or eligible for licensing under relevant national or industry regulatory bodies, if applicable

Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities
High level of initiative, integrity, and resilience
Ability to navigate complex environments and manage ambiguity
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Familiarity with the group’s industry and emerging trends
Strong network within finance, investment, or strategic partnership communities is a plus
