Job summary

STARBREAKER CORP is seeking a Procurement Officer to source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality products and services in the Philippines. The role covers store marketing inputs, signage, merchandise, and uniforms, with a focus on cost efficiency and building strong supplier relationships.

You will lead supplier selection, monitor purchasing activity, and develop a reliable supplier base to strengthen business performance.

Responsibilities

• Leads sourcing, research, selection, and purchase of quality products and services.
• Selects appropriate and accredited suppliers.
• Monitors purchase frequency and recommends options to improve purchasing power.
• Develops a pool of reliable suppliers and alternatives to strengthen performance.
• Identifies slow-moving or unusable supplies and ensures department demand is met.
• Develops cost reduction projects and prioritizes based on financial impact.
• Establishes contracts with suppliers to achieve efficiencies and cost-effectiveness; reviews and adjusts as needed.
• Contributes to achieving organizational goals and KPIs.
• Performs other functions as assigned by supervisor.
