Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Procurement Category Analyst to work with Category Specialists on sourcing activities, SAP master data maintenance, and supplier performance optimization. The role collaborates with Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Operations on change management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–3 years of procurement experience, with SAP exposure and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or local equivalent.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related function.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data analysis and reporting experience a plus.
• Basic to intermediate project management knowledge.
• Effective communication across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written skills.
• Willing to work 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM PHST, with a one-hour break.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing activities, RFQ prep, supplier quote analysis, bid evaluation, and negotiations.
• Analyze supplier proposals for competitiveness, terms, and value.
• Create and maintain SAP master data (Info Records, Source Lists, Purchasing Info Records).
• Ensure accuracy of SAP procurement data to support pricing and supplier performance.
• Maintain SAP purchasing data (lead times, sourcing decisions, supplier info, contract pricing).
• Analyze quotations and sourcing outcomes to determine SAP master data requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain on procurement initiatives.
• Support contract administration including pricing and supply agreements.
• Identify process improvements to enhance procurement data quality and system efficiency.
