Coherent Corp. in Laguna, Philippines, seeks a procurement professional to manage end-to-end sourcing of semiconductor materials, tools, and equipment. You will review technical specs, issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and coordinate with Engineering to align material readiness with project timelines.

The role requires 3–7 years in procurement within high-tech manufacturing, strong ERP experience (SAP/Oracle), and knowledge of SEMI standards. Onsite work and compliance with EHS guidelines are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electronics) or Supply Chain or related field.
• 3-7 years of procurement or technical buying experience in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor process tools, facility systems (vacuum, gas, CDA, UPW, HVAC), and cleanroom operations.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and familiar with procurement best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, prioritise, and communicate across functions and suppliers.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards, ISO 9001, and EHS requirements is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for semiconductor materials, tools, consumables, and equipment.
• Review and interpret technical specs, datasheets, and drawings to ensure sourcing accuracy.
• Prepare RFQs/RFPs, analyze supplier bids, and recommend sourcing decisions.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Project Management to align material readiness with project schedules.
• Maintain procurement data in ERP systems and track KPIs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes and reporting.
