Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and source potential suppliers for goods and services.
• Interact with suppliers daily and maintain positive relationships.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms to ensure best value.
• Verify purchases by comparing to a master list and suggest alternatives when appropriate.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues with stakeholders.
• Authorize payments, maintain records of purchasing activity, and reconcile POs with invoices and inventories.
• Attend industry trade shows to stay current on trends and meet suppliers.
• Create purchase orders and submit them to suppliers for processing.
• Maintain procurement documentation and filing.
