Job summary

NUSTAR Resort Cebu is seeking an Assistant Vice President - Procurement to lead strategic procurement, sourcing, contracting, vendor management, and overall supply chain activities across the resort and its affiliates.

The role focuses on cost-effective acquisition, quality, compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency, including governance, risk management, and capital projects support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, finance, engineering, hospitality management, or related discipline.
• Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive procurement and supply chain management experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing procurement operations.
• Strong experience within hospitality, integrated resorts, gaming, hotel, real estate, or large-scale service industries is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with the business objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing for major categories including hotel operations, gaming, IT, F&B, and capital projects.
• Oversee vendor accreditation, bidding, evaluation, and contract award processes.
• Negotiate high-value terms and ensure contract governance throughout the lifecycle.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships and conduct performance reviews.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and strategic sourcing agreements.
• Develop procurement budgets and monitor expenditures; drive cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
