Job summary

Cargill is hiring a Procurement Buyer in the Philippines for a 1-year contract. The role focuses on tactical demand processing, supplier negotiations, and category strategy alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 5 years of Procurement/Maintenance/Strategic Sourcing/Procurement OR Engineering experience.
• Good knowledge of process equipment & industrial construction.
• Good knowledge of contract management.
• Strong knowledge of safety and food safety.
• Demonstrated ability to establish common processes.
• Strong project management experience and skills.
• Experience with IT tools (MS packages) and procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and ensure tactical demand are processed for procurement of materials/goods, services and/or supplies for local use.
• Source from the capital investment plan for regional procurement in Southeast Asia (Philippines) and consolidate demand.
• Negotiate supplier contracts with synergy among Global/Regional strategy.
• Work with Category organization for procurement of materials/services exceeding limits with approvals.
• Implement improvements for procurement transaction processes within the business.
• Support compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes with CSSP.
• Identify saving opportunities during purchase processes and report per standards in CSSP.
• Gather, prepare and maintain documentation for multi-business processes.
