Job summary

WPP Media, within Wavemaker, seeks a Planning Manager to drive strategic communications planning and cross-functional leadership. You will shape media and content strategies to foster client growth and positively influence decision making.

The role requires coordinating with internal teams, managing client relationships, and guiding junior team members toward delivering data-driven media plans and innovative solutions. A hybrid office model is in place across offices.

Lead the overall strategic communication planning process.
Supervise team output for quality and timeliness; mentor juniors.
Delegate tasks with adequate resources and training.

Responsibilities

Lead the over-all strategic communication planning process addressing client needs.
Supervise team output ensuring quality and timeliness; mentor juniors.
Delegate tasks to team members with adequate time and resources.
Conduct annual and interim reviews of team members.
Build and maintain productive client and team relationships.
Assist with fee and contract negotiation and other business aspects.
Collaborate with clients to optimize processes for managing their business.
Work with other teams to advocate for clients with key media owners.
Participate in new business pitches with insightful communications solutions.
