Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines (Tanauan) seeks a materials planning and SIOP professional to optimize demand, capacity, and inventory using ERP systems (E1/JDE/SAP). Work with manufacturing, procurement and sales teams to develop demand forecasts, plan monthly production, and track key metrics for continuous improvement.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field and 2+ years experience; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient.
• Excellent understanding on ERP system (E1,JDE or SAP)
• Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing strategies for materials planning and SIOP.
• Participates in the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
• Supports the development of indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand.
• Identifies appropriate demand streams and supports in establishing data relationship linkages.
• May work with product development leaders and sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
• Supports in planning capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations.
• May work with manufacturing team and participates in the development of monthly production volume planning using the Business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters.
• Participates in identifying and developing new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability and sustainability.
• May be responsible for tracking appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
• Supports in the development of processes and plans to improve supply capabilities.
• Participates in establishing clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP.
• Adheres to and participates in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others
