Job summary

W Group in Manila seeks an Internal Audit Associate to support the full cycle of audits, including preparing pre-audit and post-audit documents and presenting findings to HBUs and department heads.

You will conduct walkthroughs, review data and documents for accuracy, draft communications with auditees, and monitor corrective actions with the Internal Audit Manager. This role requires strong attention to detail and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all pre-audit and post-audit documents based on the approved audit schedule, including:
• Audit plans, objectives, and procedures for auditees.
• Coordination of audit schedules and programs with auditees and relevant stakeholders.
• Audit Compliance Reports (ACRs) documenting audit observations and compliance issues.
• Documentation of audit findings, recommendations, and proposed corrective actions.
• Prepares and presents audit reports, including findings, observations, and recommendations, to the Heads of Business Units (HBUs), department heads, and other relevant key stakeholders.
• Conducts walkthrough procedures to assess and understand the processes, operations, and internal controls of assigned auditees.
• Reviews and validates data, information, and supporting documents presented by auditees during the conduct of audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Handles audit-related queries and drafts communications with auditees and relevant stakeholders before, during, and after the audit, subject to the approval of the Internal Audit Manager.
• Submits recommendations and proposed corrective actions to the Internal Audit Manager to facilitate the resolution and closure of audit findings.
• Prepares and regularly updates audit status reports, including the monitoring of outstanding findings, corrective actions, and their implementation status.
• Coordinates with the Heads of Business Units (HBUs), department heads, and other relevant stakeholders to monitor the implementation of agreed corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or as prescribed by approved company policies and guidelines.
