Job summary

Vishay Philippines is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize supply chain operations through process design and efficient layouts. This role focuses on policy development, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing floors.

You will support engineering design, maintain control systems, and act as a Key User for designated processes, including documentation and training activities. This position demands hands-on technical work and ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial Engineering within supply chain or manufacturing.
• Ability to define and implement engineering policies, methods, and standards.
• Strong project management skills including budgeting and monitoring.
• Knowledge of manufacturing layout design and ergonomics.
• Capable of analyzing operations and proposing efficiency or cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain IE policies and standards for supply chain operations.
• Develop budgets, assign projects, and allocate resources.
• Collaborate on cost-effective manufacturing layouts and ergonomics.
• Investigate best practices and technology trends in manufacturing.
• Ensure efficient operations across supply chain stages; propose improvements.
• Develop and maintain operations information, planning, and control systems.
• Support engineering design and implementation processes.
• Plan and document training for affected parts of the organization.
• Serve as a subject matter expert ('Key User') on dedicated processes.
• Perform assembly, installation, testing, and documentation of infrastructure modules.
