Job summary

S&P Global, Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager for FP&A and Reporting to support planning, analysis, and reporting across the Division. The role reports to the Director, FP&A and Reporting Lead and drives accurate financial submissions and insightful analytics for senior stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring strong modelling skills, attention to detail, and ability to transform data into clear insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and tools.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, or related roles.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience analyzing results, explaining variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting financial data.

Responsibilities

• Monthly Close, Estimates, and Budget Coordination: support close, forecast, and annual budget; variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Financial Reporting, Analysis and Modelling: maintain reporting for management; build models for forecasts and strategic plans.
• QFR and QBR: prepare analyses, schedules, and presentations for quarterly reviews with timelines.
• Business Partnering: collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve reporting questions and support leadership.
• Reporting, Tools, and Process Improvement: contribute to automation and dashboards using PowerBI/Tableau/Think-Cell.
• Finance Systems and Operational Support: use Anaplan, SmartView, and Workday for reports and data validation.
