Job summary

S&P Global in Manila is seeking a Finance Manager, FP&A and Reporting to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Energy. You will coordinate monthly closes, prepare management reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate insights and drive performance.

The role emphasizes building robust models, improving reporting processes, and supporting executive-level decision making while leveraging tools like Excel, PowerBI, and Anaplan.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis experience.
• Strong modelling and analytical skills with advanced Excel.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Experience explaining variances, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with finance and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close, estimates, forecasts, and annual budget processes.
• Prepare variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
• Lead finance activities with Legal & Compliance and consolidate submissions.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate and timely per FP&A requirements.
• Maintain financial reporting for management and build models for forecasts.
• Analyze performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare materials for QFR and QBR and coordinate inputs.
• Collaborate with Corporate FP&A and other teams to align goals.
• Develop executive commentary on performance, outlook, risks, and opportunities.
• Support automation efforts and data quality improvements.
