Job summary

Penguin Ai is seeking a Finance Analyst to manage accounting and FP&A operations in Pampanga, Mexico. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead the month-end close, maintain financial models, and support cash management decisions. You’ll be integral to board reporting and assist in fundraising efforts, ensuring the company's financial health and investor readiness.

A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, alongside 2-4 years of relevant experience, particularly in startup environments. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, FP&A, or finance operations.
• Strong month-end close experience and reconciliation skills.
• Practical cash-management experience and familiarity producing burn/runway reports.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process with external accountants.
• Maintain and update the company financial model and rolling forecasts.
• Track cash flow and produce weekly/monthly burn reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly board reporting materials.
