Job summary

Consistent Frozen Solutions Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Procurement Specialist to develop bid documents, analyze responses, and drive strategic sourcing for fleet and asset procurement.

The role collaborates with Managers, Fleet SMEs, and cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end procurement, from requisitions through delivery, while negotiating with suppliers and tracking bid performance to improve service levels and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a purchasing, supply chain, business, engineering or related field.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems.
• Previous experience as a procurement officer or in a related position.
• Knowledge of various transportation assets and services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
• Analytical skills for problem-solving and strategic planning.
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective multitasking, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail with accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Work with Managers and Fleet SMEs to understand business needs and identify potential solutions.
• Oversee procurement to distribution, optimizing processes to meet customer needs, including local purchase execution and tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information for bid proposals.
• Support in the development of bid documentation, including RFIs/RFPs/RFQs.
• Source, negotiate, evaluate, and recommend purchases and general materials (equipment, trucks, vehicles).
• Procure and negotiate pricing and production capacity to enhance profit and service levels.
• Collaborate with vendors and service partners to ensure bid requirements are met.
• Understand legal bid proposal requirements and identify components for contract compliance.
• Review requisitions for technical specification completeness and adequacy.
• Monitor logistics upon receipt of goods to ensure proper delivery reporting and inventory accuracy.
• Track and report bid performances.
