Job summary

Watsons Philippines is seeking a Finance Business Partner to work closely with business units as a real-time advisory partner. The role will provide analysis to support decision making and drive financial performance across operations.

You will collaborate with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts and long-term financial plans, leveraging ERP systems and BI tools to present concise findings to stakeholders. Strong influencing and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel).
• Experience in business partnering and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor, driving financial performance and providing insightful analysis to support business decisions.
• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance and profitability, then present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
• Partner with senior management to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Understanding the business unit, including the needs in an operational and strategic point of view.
• Can draw on ‘big’ and ‘small’ data, selecting the appropriate tools to manipulate, analyze and interpret it in sophisticated, audience-appropriate ways.
• Must be able to form and stand over their opinions, have a well-developed sense of ethics and be prepared to stand up for these principles
