Job summary

PERSOL in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to collaborate with business stakeholders and management teams, delivering strategic financial support to drive sustainability and operational efficiency.

You will model scenarios, forecast, and advise on resource allocation, month-end closing, and governance while partnering with project teams to improve performance and provide data-driven insights across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience, including business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, or business performance analysis.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting business decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Proven ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Experience in process improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiencies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business units and project managers to review financial performance, conduct business analyses, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic objectives.
• Drive cost optimisation initiatives, process improvements, and operational efficiency projects across the organisation.
• Support management decision-making through financial modelling, scenario planning, forecasting, business case evaluations, and resource allocation recommendations.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including financial reporting, budget allocations, and budget transfers.
• Perform variance analysis and evaluate operational performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare revenue and expense accruals, grant recovery documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal governance requirements.
• Support project teams in purchase order management, fixed asset administration, budget tracking, and financial advisory matters.
• Contribute to finance system enhancements and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Provide operational support and collaborate with other Finance Business Partners within the team.
• Participate in strategic financial analysis projects and undertake ad-hoc assignments to support organisational goals and business priorities.
