Job summary

Christian Broadcasting Network in the Philippines seeks a Finance Manager responsible for fund allocation, planning, control, organizing and directing the company’s financial resources and activities.

You will lead budgeting, monitor cash flows, and oversee accounting and treasury functions, while coordinating with leadership to support strategic decisions. The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining strong relations with auditors and banks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant credential.
• Extensive experience in finance, accounting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Assists in formulating log frame, action plans and budget preparation.
• Monitors and directs the implementation of log frame and action plan.
• Develops performance measures that support the company's strategic direction.
• Participates in critical decisions as a member of the leadership team.
• Monitors cash balances and cash forecasts.
• Manages the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Oversees the financial operations of satellite offices.
• Oversees issuance of financial information.
• Reports financial results to management and/or board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relations with external auditors and banking relationships.
• Interviewing Finance staff applicants, conducting department orientation and training sessions, delegating assignments and projects to employees, mentoring new and current employees, rewarding employees for good work, taking disciplinary actions when needed, and responding to and finding solutions to problems within the department.
