Job summary

Alsons Power Group is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance & Accounting to lead finance operations across its diesel and renewable energy businesses in the Philippines. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, internal controls, and regulatory compliance while shaping strategic decisions for executive leadership.

The role requires a CPA and a minimum of 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with strong communication and stakeholder management across multiple units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy/finance/economics or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
• CPA preferred; Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience managing finance functions across multiple companies or business units.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance & Accounting operations across multiple Group companies.
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, working capital, and financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, DOE, ERC, SEC, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance.
• Lead tax planning and internal/external audit activities.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
• Support Board presentations, financial reports, and strategic discussions.
• Lead, develop, and coach Finance & Accounting teams.
