Job summary

GCash is seeking a data science professional to lead cross-functional analytics projects from concept to insight delivery and automation. You will collaborate with Mynt product teams to align on strategic directions and business problems.

The role requires strong SQL and Python/R, excellent communication, and the ability to self-lead and guide ML/AI initiatives. A growth-focused fintech environment awaits in Manila.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data science or analytics experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Statistics, CS, Physical Science, Economics or related field; masters preferred.
• Strong SQL and Python or R for analytics.
• Ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with data cloud services surrounding analytics and automation.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies on the job.
• Demonstrates ability to self-lead and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce cross functional data science projects from conceptualization to insight delivery or automation.
• Present methodologies, packaged insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with Mynt product teams for strategic direction and collaboration.
• Frame business questions into analytical or ML frameworks to enable practical solutions.
• Lead in value realization discussions for ML/AI products.
