Job summary

Mynt, the fintech arm behind GCash in the Philippines, is seeking a data science professional to drive cross-functional projects from concept to insigh t delivery and automation. You will collaborate with product teams to shape strategic direction and frame business questions into actionable analytics and ML solutions.

Ideal candidates have a strong SQL/Python (or R) background, plus the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences and lead ML/AI product value realization

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Science, Economics, or a related technical field; masters or related postgraduate courses acceptable.
• Strong and demonstrable understanding of SQL and Python or R for analytical functions.
• Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

We are looking for:

• 2+ years working experience that enables the individual to understand work ethics and quickly adapt to work demands.
• An undergraduate degree preferably in Statistics, Computer Science, Physical Science, Economics, or a related technical field. In the absence of which, masters or technical postgraduate courses taken related to Data Science will be suitable.
• A strong and demonstrable understanding of SQL and Python or R for analytical functions.
• A practiced and demonstrable ability to communicate complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with data cloud services surrounding analytical and automation functions.
• The adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies on the job.
• Demonstrates high capability to self-lead and lead projects
