Job summary

Accenture is seeking a capable lawyer in the Philippines to review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts including MSA, outsourcing, SOW, SLAs, SaaS, data transfer and more. The role supports senior Contracting lawyers on complex deals and helps evolve corporate contracting practices.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of transactional experience, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and Filipino, with Law Degree and Philippine bar status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration, and/or outsourcing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience negotiating intellectual property and data privacy issues.
• Proven negotiator with principle-based negotiation strategy and the ability to present alternatives.
• Proven ability to efficiently manage a large volume of transactions independently.
• Experience negotiating and drafting technology-based agreements.
• Understand basic principles of finance, accounting, marketing, and management.
• Strong executive presence.
• Good understanding of contracting/risk issues, including IP, as they apply to digital, consulting, systems integration, and outsourcing transactions.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Structure, negotiate and close client transactions to be most advantageous legally and commercially.
• Strategize with senior Contracting lawyers and internal business clients before negotiations.
• Stay abreast of developments affecting the company and industries and synthesize insights into contracting practices.
• Educate and advise company executives on legal and risk management issues.
• Develop subject matter expertise to benefit Legal and the business.
• Develop internal guidelines, toolkits, and knowledge capital on legal and business issues.
• Support, promote and implement Accenture Legal initiatives.
• Evolve as a contracting lawyer with attributes like pathfinder, architect, and technology-enabled adviser.
