Job summary

NEWCORE INDUSTRIES INTERNATIONAL, INC seeks a Sourcing Associate to support procurement for interior fit-out and construction projects in Makati. You will identify suppliers, obtain quotations, process PRs/POs, monitor deliveries, and maintain procurement records to help keep projects on budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, good negotiation and communication skills, and familiarity with Excel/ERP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, Civil Technology, or related discipline.
Open to fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
Background or exposure to sourcing construction materials, interior finishes, furniture, lighting, joinery, or subcontracted services is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop a network of suppliers for construction materials, furniture, fixtures, lighting, finishing products, equipment, and subcontracted services.
Assess potential vendors based on product quality, pricing, reliability, delivery capacity, and suitability for project requirements.
Prepare and coordinate RFQs with prospective local and regional suppliers.
Review PRs for completeness and accuracy and assist in preparing POs.
Support the procure-to-pay process by monitoring purchase transactions and coordinating invoice discrepancies with Finance.
Track open purchase orders and monitor supplier commitments to meet project schedules.
Coordinate with project managers and site personnel to align material requirements with construction progress and budget allocations.
Maintain organized supplier databases, quotation files, purchase orders, and delivery records.
Ensure purchasing activities and supporting documents comply with internal procedures and applicable requirements.
Serve as a coordination point for routine supplier inquiries and provide timely updates to project teams, site personnel, and Finance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify specifications, quantities, delivery requirements, and other purchasing concerns.
