Job summary

Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Head to lead all accounting operations and financial reporting from its Makati City base. You will oversee the complete accounting cycle, close processes, and ensure IFRS/PAS compliance while providing strategic insights to management.

The role requires 7–10 years in accounting with 3–5 years in a supervisory capacity, CPA preferred. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential for effective internal controls and decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification preferred
• 7–10 years in accounting with 3–5 years in supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, PAS, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting applications
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
• Ability to lead and develop accounting team

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and financial reporting
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, GL, cash management, and reconciliations
• Lead month/quarter/year-end close processes
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings
• Ensure tax returns and regulatory filings are timely and compliant
• Develop and monitor internal controls and risk management
• Coach and mentor accounting staff and manage workloads
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
