Job summary

FC Home Center in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the organization. You will develop models, analyze performance, and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

The role oversees traditional accounting functions, prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Strong CPA and ERP skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• CPA highly preferred.
• 2-3 years of progressive experience in general accounting, financial reporting, permits and taxes managements, financial planning and analysis, and financial control and budgeting.
• Proficient in accounting systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
• Develop financial models and projections to support business decisions.
• Provide management with financial insights and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee the preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare management reports, financial analyses, and executive presentations.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators and report significant trends and variances.
• Support management decision-making through timely and reliable financial information.
• Manage and supervise all general accounting activities.
• Ensure accurate recording and classification of financial transactions.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensure timely filing and payment of taxes and statutory obligations.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of BIR and other regulatory reports.
• Monitor compliance with tax laws, government regulations, and corporate requirements.
• Manage business permit renewals, licenses, and other regulatory registrations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies regarding compliance matters.
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee budget preparation, monitoring, and expenditure control.
• Ensure proper utilization and safeguarding of company assets and resources.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Review and strengthen financial processes to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Set departmental goals, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of objectives.
• Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.
• Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.
