Accenture is seeking a Corporate/AI & Data product counsel with a JD and bar admission to support the AI & Data business, assess offerings, and provide subject matter expertise. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams across regulatory, IP, and contracting, and requires strong English communication and US time-zone alignment.

You will contribute to playbooks, templates, and deal support, while assisting in acquisitions and ongoing process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• JD with bar admission in good standing.
• 5+ years in a corporate or law firm setting advising on software including AI.
• Experience with AI, software, and non-transactional legal work.
• Knowledge of SaaS, software licenses, and AI-related contract structures.
• Willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes for AI & Data offerings.
• Able to work with US time zones.
• Highly organized with multi-workstream management.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with global teams.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with GSL, Resale, Strategic Partnering, IP, Data Privacy, Regulatory and Contracting teams.
• Support Contracting as product counsel, using playbooks, templates and deal support.
• Assist Ventures & Acquisitions teams in evaluating prospective AI & Data targets.
• Perform legal research to support initiatives and processes.
• Create and improve processes, tools, and efficiency efforts, including decks and guidance materials.
• Monitor emerging regulatory trends related to technology, AI, LLMs, and related fields.

About the role

Support the Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Data business team within Accenture Technology by conducting assessments of new service and product offerings, and offering general product counsel support as the business prepares offerings to go to market. Develop subject-matter expertise in AI & Data and act as point of contact, together with other members of the team, for the business and assets teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of new service and product offerings and offer general product counsel support as the business prepares offerings to go to market


• Develop subject-matter expertise in AI & Data and act as point of contact for the business and assets teams


• Collaborate with other teams within GSL and across legal, including colleagues in Resale, Strategic Partnering, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Regulatory and Contracting teams


• Support the Contracting team as product counsel and subject matter expert regarding playbooks, templates and occasional deal support


• Support the company's Ventures & Acquisitions legal and business teams in evaluation of prospective acquisition AI & Data targets


• Assist the team with legal research


• Support the development, review maintenance and improvement of processes, tools and efficiency initiatives across the team, which may include producing PowerPoint decks, workplans, and guidance materials


• Maintain awareness of emerging legal and regulatory trends related to technology, including LLMs, generative and agentic AI

About you

• Graduate Law degree (JD) and admission in good standing with applicable bar association(s) (or local equivalents)


• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a corporate or law firm setting, ideally advising on software including AI


• Relevant experience with AI, software and non-transactional legal work


• Knowledge of SaaS, Software License, and AI-related contract structures


• Understanding or willingness to learn applicable regulatory landscapes as required for the offerings, including with respect to AI & Data


• Able to work with US time zones


• High degree of organization with the ability to manage multiple workstreams


• Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with global and cross-functional teams


• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)


• Strong interest in continuous learning about emerging technologies
